It was Rachel's turn to host the Mother/Daughter Book Club this month. She chose Judy Moody Declares Independence, a book about a girl who goes to Boston on a family trip and decides to do as the founding fathers did by declaring independence...however, she wanted it from her parent's rules and little brother. Through the course of the book there are fun tidbits of American history and the reader discovers that you can only gain freedom and independence by being responsible. At the book club, the girls completed a word search, answered questions about the book, had a little tea party with hot chocolate and cake, and finished out the evening coloring and cutting out their very own Bonjour Bunny.
