Snow is Falling Down...

Right now it is snowing outside, a rare thing for the Pacific Northwest.
Just yesterday the sun was out and I took the little ones for a long walk on some nearby wooded trails. My mind is brought back to our fun pre-Christmas snow storm that cancelled school and brought lots of sledding opportunities for our family and friends. The kids made ramps and loved launching themselves off the jumps. We spent every day sledding, drinking hot chocolate, building snowmen and digging out snow forts. Our living room had a constant scattered pile of boots, hats, gloves, snowpants and jackets. Our town was practically snowed in and no one went anywhere. What fun memories we have of those non-scheduled snow-filled days!
